My name is Ricky Synnot, and I’m a designer. Im fascinated, motivated, and driven to solve design problems for the web. I love bringing people, places and business together to explore authentic brand journeys.

Im currently working for as a Senior Digital Designer. From August 2013, I’ve worked in the residential design team. We shape and improve the way Australians find property.

I live in Melbourne, Australia, and enjoy cycling, cooking, and travel. I like to keep things simple.

In 2011-mid 2013 I worked at the Lifelounge Group as a lead designer, primarily on the startup ‘Everguide’. I pioneered gigs and events as a digital content type, and brought clarity & enjoyment to the event-seeking process. I designed and directed the production of ‘Everguide Promote’ – a digital platform for promoters and venues to launch and promote their event.

At Lifelounge, I produced a large body of marketing material to promote Everguide. It appeared in national publications including Voyeur magazine, JetStar magazine, Triple J magazine and The Age. I also designed for a comprehensive national billboard campaign.

I have also worked as a freelance designer for many years. I offer graphic and website design, branding and identity, and experience design. Some clients include the Made Group, Crown Casino, the Australian Government, LiveOneDay and First Press Coffee. Some agencies include, Motherbird, Clear Light Digital and ADMC.

I am fortunate to have built enduring trust relationships with these clients. Together we focus on innovation, challenging expectations and realising a brand’s place on the world stage.

My work is acclaimed, through nominations and awards, receiving Australian Mobile Awards in 2013 ( team), 2012 and 2011 (Everguide), a Create Digital Award Nomination in 2011, and a Webby Awards Honouree in 2012 and 2013. I have a bachelor degree in Design (Multimedia Design) from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.

Im super excited to help define the future of design and innovation in Australia.
