I think that when flat design is mindlessly applied by designers, branding, identity and the actual communications taking place suffer. So many out-of-the box tools and libraries are being used without customisation and personalisation.
Last week a great iOS app launched a big update - Sunrise now supports Exchange calendar syncing. I'm so impressed, I thought I’d put together a side by side comparison of a few features, to see them side by side with the Calendar app.
Its like I met a new friend, had a quick chat, and now I benefit from a fully complete account on Slack. I had pulled through my photo from twitter, and was learning how the basic comment based UI was set up. Then, all of a sudden, '@slackbot' appeared in my left hand toolbar.

It's not a 'Photohop Killer', its not one tool to rule them all, its just an absolutely fantastic package, by the looks of things, that will make prototyping and basic website creation an absolute joy.
